Summary: Unfortunately our stay at Ellerslie Palms Motel was disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned - the floor had clearly not been vacuumed and there were cobwebs in the corners of the room. The air conditioning unit was also leaking down the wall, which made the room feel poorly maintained. It was also surprising to find there are no staff on site at all, with the motel completely remotely managed. While remote check-in can work well, it does make it difficult to address issues when the room itself isn’t up to standard. Overall the room felt neglected and well below the level of cleanliness and upkeep you would expect when booking accommodation.
